Terms of sale

These Terms of Sale govern all purchases made on groovaly.com (the "Website").

By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms of Sale without reservation.

1. Company information

Sales are carried out by:

Groovaly designs and sells furniture and modular compositions for vinyl record collections.

2. Scope

These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made on the Website, by consumers and by professionals alike.

Where the customer qualifies as a consumer within the meaning of the French Consumer Code, applicable consumer protection rules apply.

Where the customer acts for professional purposes, certain consumer protection rights may not apply, in accordance with applicable law.

Resale, rental or commercial exploitation of the products without Groovaly's prior written consent is prohibited.

3. Products

The Website offers:

  • Bloom Console — a standalone console, delivered flat-packed and assembled by the customer;
  • the Golden Age Collection — seven modules and twelve ready-made compositions, delivered fully assembled;
  • the Bloom Integration Kit — a component kit for custom furniture projects;
  • custom Golden Age compositions, created through the configurator and quoted individually.

Products are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy.

Given the nature of the materials used, small-batch manufacturing, screen display variations, product photography and image processing, minor differences in colour, finish, texture, grain, proportion or dimension may occur. Such variations are inherent to the products. They are not defects and do not constitute grounds for cancellation, replacement or refund, provided they do not affect the normal use, safety or conformity of the product.

4. Materials and finish

Bloom Console is made from Egger melamine-faced panels. It is supplied flat-packed with all components, fittings and instructions required for home assembly.

Golden Age pieces are made from White Pearl Valchromat with a protective matt finish, and are delivered fully assembled. Valchromat is a wood-fibre panel coloured throughout. Minor variations in tone, texture, fibre appearance or surface finish may occur and are part of the character of the material.

5. Prices, taxes and import duties

Prices are displayed in your local currency where available, based on your delivery country. The currency and the final amount charged are confirmed at checkout. Where a currency conversion applies, the rate is set by our payment provider and may include a conversion fee.

For orders delivered within the European Union, prices include VAT where applicable.

For orders delivered outside the European Union, prices may be displayed or charged excluding VAT depending on the destination and applicable tax rules.

Shipping costs are not included in the product price. They are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address, or quoted separately for custom compositions.

For destinations outside the European Union, the shipping cost includes all duties, customs fees and local taxes. Orders ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): nothing further is payable on delivery or importation, anywhere in the world. The total shown at checkout is the final price.

Groovaly may modify its prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the price in force when the order is confirmed.

6. Orders

Placing an order implies full acceptance of these Terms of Sale.

An order becomes binding only once payment has been confirmed and an order confirmation has been sent by email.

Groovaly may decline, suspend or cancel any order in the event of:

  • payment refusal or a payment incident;
  • suspected fraud;
  • stock unavailability;
  • production or shipping impossibility to the requested destination;
  • abnormal, abusive or bad-faith ordering patterns;
  • a manifest error in price, product description or configuration;
  • an order that does not comply with the usage, safety, assembly or installation instructions published on the Website.

Groovaly may in particular decline or cancel any order that would result in an unsafe or non-compliant configuration. A Bloom module, for example, must not be used on its own; an order or configuration that does not meet Bloom's stability requirements or other product safety rules may be declined or cancelled.

Where payment has already been taken and Groovaly cancels the order, the customer is refunded in full for the cancelled products, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

7. Payment

Payments are processed securely by third-party providers, including Shopify Payments and PayPal. Groovaly does not store or have access to customers' full payment card details.

Orders are processed only once payment has been authorised and confirmed.

For custom or quoted orders, payment terms are set out in the quotation, invoice, payment link or email exchange.

8. Delivery

Products are delivered to the address provided by the customer when placing the order. The customer is responsible for providing accurate, complete and accessible delivery information, including name, address, telephone number, email address, access conditions and any relevant delivery instructions.

Delivery methods, costs, eligible countries and estimated timeframes vary by product, destination, stock availability, production batch and logistics constraints. Full details are set out in the Shipping Policy.

As a general indication:

  • Bloom Console is on pre-order, with first deliveries from November 2026; after dispatch, transit typically takes approximately 1–3 weeks, depending on destination and production schedule;
  • Golden Age compositions, ready-made and custom alike, are made to order from standard modules: they usually ship in about 6 weeks (or within 48 hours when the modules are already in stock), and are then typically delivered within approximately 1–3 weeks, depending on destination;
  • Bloom Integration Kit orders ship within 48 hours on business days and typically arrive within approximately 1–3 weeks.

These timeframes are indicative. Groovaly shall not be held liable for delays resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including manufacturing delays, supply chain disruption, transport issues, customs procedures, weather events, strikes, force majeure or delivery appointment issues. Customers are informed as soon as reasonably possible of any significant delay affecting their order.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, delivery does not include unpacking, assembly, wall fixing, installation, removal of packaging or moving products to upper floors.

The customer must check the condition of the packaging and products on delivery. Any visible damage, missing parcel or delivery issue should be noted on the carrier's delivery document where possible, and reported to Groovaly promptly with photographs.

9. Assembly, installation and use

The customer is responsible for assembling, installing and using the products in accordance with the instructions provided by Groovaly.

Bloom Console is delivered flat-packed and requires home assembly.

Golden Age pieces are delivered fully assembled, except for certain components that may require simple installation at home, such as the Bloom fan-drawer, removable feet or handles.

Products must be installed on a flat, stable and suitable surface.

For safety reasons, certain compositions require or recommend wall fixing:

  • for two-row compositions, wall fixing is recommended;
  • for three-row compositions and above, wall fixing is strongly recommended;
  • for tall, narrow or vertical compositions expressly identified as requiring wall fixing, the composition must be secured to the wall after assembly.

The wall-fixing method is explained in the assembly instructions. Wall brackets, screws and plugs are not supplied, as suitable fixing hardware depends on the wall type and installation conditions. The customer is responsible for selecting suitable hardware and, where necessary, for seeking professional advice or installation assistance.

Groovaly shall not be held liable for damage, injury or malfunction resulting from:

  • incorrect or improper assembly;
  • failure to follow assembly, wall-fixing, installation or usage instructions;
  • use of unsuitable wall-fixing hardware;
  • failure to secure a product or composition to the wall where required or recommended;
  • abnormal, excessive or inappropriate use;
  • modification or alteration of the product;
  • use of the product for purposes other than those described on the Website or in the instructions;
  • placing unsuitable, overweight, oversized or poorly ventilated equipment inside or on the products.

Damage resulting from these circumstances is excluded from warranty coverage, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Product compatibility and equipment

Groovaly products are designed to hold records, compact hi-fi equipment, turntables, books, bottles and objects.

The customer is responsible for checking the dimensions, weight, ventilation requirements and suitability of any equipment or object placed inside or on a Groovaly product. When placing hi-fi equipment in an open compartment, the customer must allow sufficient space for ventilation and follow the equipment manufacturer's instructions.

Groovaly shall not be liable for damage to third-party equipment, records, accessories or personal items placed in or on Groovaly products, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Right of withdrawal, returns and refunds

Consumer customers have a right of withdrawal, subject to the conditions and exceptions set out in the Refund and Return Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms of Sale.

12. Legal warranties

The customer benefits from the legal warranties provided by applicable law, independently of any commercial warranty. For consumer customers, these include the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects.

The legal guarantee of conformity applies to defects existing at the time of delivery, under the conditions provided by the French Consumer Code.

The guarantee against hidden defects applies under the conditions provided by the French Civil Code, where a hidden defect existed prior to the sale and renders the product unfit for its intended use or significantly reduces that use.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the legal warranties do not cover:

  • normal wear and tear;
  • damage resulting from misuse, improper assembly or failure to follow instructions;
  • damage resulting from unsuitable installation, wall fixing or handling;
  • damage resulting from modification or alteration of the product;
  • aesthetic variations inherent to the materials, finishes, small-batch manufacturing or screen display differences;
  • minor variations in colour, tone, texture, grain, finish or dimension that do not affect the normal use, safety or conformity of the product.

13. Commercial warranty

Groovaly does not provide a commercial warranty in addition to the legal warranties described above. Your statutory rights under the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects apply in full and are not affected.

14. Spare parts

Spare parts essential to the use of our products — including the Bloom fan-drawer mechanism, feet, handles and fittings — are available from Groovaly for five years from the date of purchase.

15. Liability

Groovaly shall not be held liable for indirect damage, loss of use, loss of enjoyment, loss of data, loss of profit, loss of opportunity or financial loss arising from the use of the Website or the products.

Groovaly's liability is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including in cases of personal injury, fraud or gross negligence.

Nothing in these Terms of Sale excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection law.

16. Intellectual property

All product designs, modular compositions, images, videos, texts, graphics, logos, trademarks, product names, configuration previews, furniture concepts and browsing mechanisms available on the Website are protected by intellectual property rights.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, distribution, extraction, adaptation, reuse or exploitation, in whole or in part, without Groovaly's prior written authorisation, is strictly prohibited.

The Bloom fan-drawer mechanism is patented — FR2504530.

17. Customer service and dispute resolution

In accordance with the French Consumer Code, and after having contacted Groovaly customer service to seek an amicable resolution, a consumer customer may, in the absence of a satisfactory response, refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator:

18. Governing law

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts shall be those determined by applicable consumer protection law, without prejudice to mandatory rights granted to consumers by their country of residence.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Sale is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

20. Changes to these terms

Groovaly may update these Terms of Sale from time to time to reflect changes in its products, services, legal obligations or commercial practices. The applicable version is the one in force when the order is confirmed.
