Bloom Integration Kit
Build with Bloom.
Bloom is our patented browsing system: the drawer opens and records fan out like the pages of a book, every sleeve visible at a glance, without lifting a single one out. We developed it for our own furniture. This kit lets you build it into yours.
The Bloom Integration Kit is the set of dedicated components that make the fan-drawer work — the rods, the plates, the felt sleeves, the fixings and the technical guide. It is not a drawer and not a piece of furniture. Drawer slides are not included: you choose and supply your own. For the self-opening motion of our own furniture, use push-to-open slides — but a standard pull model works just as well. You build the structure; the kit provides the mechanism.
Each kit builds one Bloom fan-drawer, holding around 50 LPs.

- Installation
You build a compatible drawer structure: a horizontal bottom panel under the records and a rigid vertical rear panel to fix the side plates. The felt sleeves hang from the two horizontal rods, mounted on supports fixed at each end of the rear panel.
The two panels to cut
The kit is built into a drawer you make. You cut two panels; the slides and the rest are yours to source.
Back panel — 356 × 248 mm, 19 mm thick. The steel side plates are designed for this exact thickness, so use a 19 mm panel (MDF, melamine or similar).
Bottom panel — width 360 mm or more (it takes the 356 mm back panel plus the two side plates), depth your choice with 330 mm advised, thickness to suit your slides.
Flush or recessed — the front of the records sits 339 mm from the back panel. Use that figure to set the drawer so the records finish flush with your furniture, or recessed if you prefer.
Technical requirements
- Sufficient internal height for records, drawer base and slides
- A rigid rear panel or vertical support
- Drawer slides rated for at least 35 kg — brands such as Blum or Accuride offer suitable models
- A back-to-bottom joint that stays square under load — dowels plus screws recommended
- A stable structure, panels of 19 mm or more recommended
- Wall fixing if the furniture can tip forward
Not compatible with shelf cubes of the usual 33 cm internal size: once the drawer base, slides and clearance are added, there's too little room left for the records and the mechanism.
How it goes together
Two stages. First you build the drawer: screw the back panel square to the bottom panel, fix the two steel side plates to the back panel, then mount the whole drawer on your slides. Then you build the fan: thread the 50 felt sleeves onto the two rods, separated by the spacers, drop the assembly into the slots of the side plates, and check the movement is smooth before loading records.
The kit comes with an illustrated guide covering every step. It should be fitted by a professional or an experienced maker.
Shipping
Ships worldwide. Dispatched from France within 48 hours on business days (Monday–Friday), typically arriving within 1–3 weeks depending on destination.
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address, on top of the product price. For destinations outside the EU it includes all duties and local taxes — the order ships Delivered Duty Paid, so there's nothing more to pay on delivery, anywhere in the world. The total shown at checkout is the final price.
Patent and protected use
The Bloom drawer uses our patented browsing mechanism, FR2504530.
Each kit allows one Bloom integration. Commercial reproduction, series production, resale of Bloom-compatible furniture or manufacture of similar components requires a separate written agreement with Groovaly.
Safety
A loaded record drawer is heavy, and once fitted, the kit affects the stability of the furniture it's built into. The structure must stay stable when the drawer is open and full: someone pulling on an open, loaded drawer — a child, a pet — can tip an under-built or unsecured piece. Use a structure suited to the load, secure the furniture to the wall where needed, and keep fasteners tight.
Drawer construction, slide selection, furniture fixing and installation safety are the buyer's responsibility. Groovaly can't be held responsible for installations that don't follow the technical guide.
Care
The kit's components need no special maintenance: dust with a soft dry cloth, keep excess water off the felt sleeves and metal, and avoid abrasive or solvent cleaners. For the furniture itself, follow the care advice for its material.
