Maceo
A Golden Age Hi-Fi Cabinet for Vinyl
For LPs, singles and equipment gathered in one calm horizontal volume.
Designed as a compact hi-fi cabinet for vinyl lovers, Maceo brings together Tilt and Chest in a clear two-level composition. It creates a dedicated place for LP records, 7-inch singles, compact equipment, accessories and everyday listening objects.
Instead of hiding records in tight shelves or closed storage, Maceo brings them into the room. LPs remain visible, accessible and easy to explore, while the upper section keeps equipment and smaller items close at hand.
At the base, Tilt keeps a generous LP selection visible and easy to browse. Records rest on a raised rear base, creating the impression that the collection is lightly suspended. To browse, simply press the top edge of a sleeve: the records tilt gently forward, making the cover easier to see without removing it from the piece.
Above it, Chest adds dedicated storage for 7-inch singles, hi-fi accessories, personal items or everyday objects. Its lower drawer is divided into three compartments proportioned for singles, while the upper shelf hosts compact equipment, books, baskets or display pieces.
Together, Tilt and Chest make Maceo a focused Golden Age cabinet: a place to browse LPs, store 7-inch singles, keep equipment within reach and bring the ritual of choosing a record into everyday living.

The Golden Age Collection
Built to explore
The collection is built around one conviction: a record you can't see is a record you'll never play.
Upright on a shelf, a collection becomes a wall of spines a few millimetres wide, most of them unreadable, and pressed together tightly enough that reaching for one means shifting the rest. The record is in there. Finding it is another matter.
Two modules answer that — not with more space, but with movement.
Bloom opens on a patented fan-drawer (FR2504530): the drawer fans around 50 LPs into an arc, so you flip through full covers like the pages of a book, without lifting a single record out.
Tilt holds around 180 LPs on a raised rear base, so the collection appears to float. Press gently on the top edge of a sleeve and the record leans forward, revealing the cover without leaving the module.
Five more modules complete a composition: Cub for around 100 LPs, books and objects in an open volume; Chest for up to 300 7-inch singles and compact hi-fi; Split for equipment, books and baskets; Grid for nine bottles, for the moments records are shared; and Nest, a raised stage for the turntable.
Design & modularity
Rounded forms, sculptural volumes and softened edges: the collection takes its language from the 1970s — the golden age of vinyl. Those curves are worked well beyond standard cabinetmaking: every edge is machined and finished individually.
Inside each module, a second panel is set back from the opening, creating a recessed shadow line that deepens the perspective and gives the volume its architectural depth.
Every module is 42 or 84 cm wide and 42 cm deep, so they stack and align freely. Six stand 47 cm high; Nest, the turntable stage, is a 3 cm platform that caps a stack. Add a module years later and it will align with the ones you already own.
Every module takes removable feet: light wood, cone-shaped, 8 cm / 3.15 in high, on a standard M8 thread, Ø 8 mm / 0.31 in. Some compositions are raised on them; others sit directly on the floor. Where feet are part of a composition, they are supplied with it. Modules bought on their own do not include feet.

Material & finish
Every piece is made from White Pearl Valchromat, a high-density wood-fibre panel coloured throughout with organic pigments. The colour runs through the material itself, not across its surface — a dense structure with a velvety texture and a mineral matt appearance.
Each module combines CNC precision, careful assembly and a protective matt finish that preserves the material's soft character while making the surface more resistant to daily use. The matt surface diffuses light rather than reflecting it — no glare, no highlights, just a soft gradient that follows every curve.
The collection is available in White Pearl. Additional finishes may be introduced progressively.
Minor variations in tone, texture or finish may occur — they come with the material and with small-batch production, and are part of the character of each piece.
Delivery & availability
Each composition is made to order and delivered fully assembled, carefully protected: it usually ships in about 6 weeks, or within 48 hours when its modules are already in stock.
Delivered across the EU. Delivery is made to the ground floor of your building, or to the entrance of your house, against signature. It does not include unpacking, wall fixing or moving pieces to upper floors.
Packages weigh between 20 and 40 kg and are bulky. We recommend having a second person available to help carry them from the delivery point into your home.
Spare parts essential to the use of this product — including the Bloom fan-drawer mechanism, feet, handles and fittings — are available from Groovaly for five years from the date of purchase.
See our Shipping Policy for details specific to your country.
